SYTYCD: Final 6 dance for a spot in the finale
Over the past few weeks, we have lost some of our favorites to lack of votes. Though we wish they were still dancing on the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE stage, you have to admit that last night was an amazing showdown of 6 of the BEST dancers! The choreographers delivered fantastic routines and the dancers turned them into Dance Dish award winning performances! Not only did every dancer rock every number, most solos were the best I've seen all season (Chelsie & Twitch's solos being my favorites of the night). It's anyone's moment to make the Final 4 to compete for the SYTYCD Season 4 title, but we the fans have all the control! Hopefully you voted for your favorite and the results tonight will show your support paid off!
Let's take a stroll down memory lane with a recap of last night's show...
COURTNEY GALIANO & MARK KANEMURA- Viennese Waltz
Choreographer: Jason Gilkison
Oh yeah! This is the most beautifully choreographed Viennese Waltz I've ever seen (out of all dance reality shows). Props to Jason! Courtney & Mark had a great connection to each other and the music. They told a beautiful love story. I loved it. I'm a sucker for anything sweet and romantic
KATEE SHEAN & JOSHUA ALLEN- Contemporary
Choreographer: Tyce Diorio
The choreographers are HOT tonight! Thank you Tyce- you rock! But we all know that choreography doesn't come to life until you have two amazing dancers breathing into it. Katee & Joshua are truly a powerhouse duo on the dance floor! How do I even fully express in a few words how much I love these two together? They are fearless, precise, and passionate! Loved, loved, loved the execution of those crazy amazing lifts! Nothing is too big or impossible for Katee & Joshua.
CHELSIE HIGHTOWER & TWITCH BOSS- Mambo
Choreographers: Tony Meredith & Melanie Lapatin
It's cute when Latin Twitch comes out of his shell. He definitely gave a great effort. I saw him trying to out shake Chelsie
and one time even got lower than her to the ground. It was fun to watch. Chelsie was on fire as usual in the Latin round. I think maybe she was a bit nervous trusting Twitch on the drops. They were both a little out of sync with each other at times but I was still very entertained. It was full of spunk and kept it's sizzle. Chelsie & Twitch kept it together and pulled it off.

Choreographer: Sonia Tayeh
I see where Sonia was going with the choreography but for me it was too much character play and not enough Jazz substance. I enjoyed watching Courtney & Mark do their thing though. They told a great twisted story and had amazing lines and sharp movements. Courtney & Mark have the intriguing ability of molding their personalities into the dance and the story. They make a great partnership for when the votes start to REALLY count- the Final 6!
KATEE SHEAN & JOSHUA ALLEN- Paso Doble
Choreographer: Jason Gilkison
Katee & Joshua are UNSTOPPABLE! The Paso Doble is absolutely perfect for them. Once again, they were blessed with AMAZING choreography! Katee & Joshua are not only phenomenal dancers, they are worthy of an Oscar! Bravo to breathtaking acting! Joshua was the perfect leading man (which I have said about dancers in past weeks but this takes the cake)! The power, strength and energy he gave for Katee to feed off of was unbelievable! What else can I say? Thank goodness these two were discovered on this level and able to show the world their talent!
CHELSIE HIGHTOWER & TWITCH BOSS- Hip Hop
Choreographers: Tabitha & Napoleon Dumo
Chelsie & Twitch are a great couple for this entertaining Hip Hop. Both are very animated so the characters fit them like a glove. This wasn't a fast moving Hip Hop but the choreography was brilliant. On a creative scale, it's one of my favorite performances this season (loved the violin leg). It's almost as if it were choreographed just for Twitch Chelsie & Twitch were a blast to watch and their facial expressions priceless!

I really enjoyed last nights show although I don't quite understand the jazz dancing yet. My favorite couple has always been Courtney and Gev and I'm still disappointed that he got voted off. Right now my favorite to win is Chelsie, I think she is the best overall dancer. After that are Courtney, Katee and Joshua in that order. Just my opinion of course but I'm pulling for Chelsie to take the win.

Sooo happy Katee and Josh are back together! I've been waiting for this moment 4everrr!! I luvvved both there dances! Either could win and I would be sooo happpy!

Well, it looks like I was wrong. Chelsie went home tonight much to my surprise. Courtney and Joshua are still there and they are my other favorites. I hope I don't jinx them by saying that lol.

lol..no you won't jinx them! I haven't watched the show yet since I'm on Pacific time it doesn't start for another 30 minutes. It's hard having to be so patient! I'm surprised Chelsie went home too but at this point I shouldn't be since they are all so good.
